Kumu Kapua announced several things at the last wahine practice (Wednesday, August 1, 2007);
- Invites everyone to come out and support the Halau Keiki at Hula Oni 'E in September;
- Halau will be entering World Hula Competition for 2007;
- Huli Huli Chicken Sales will start at the beginning of the year;
- Details forthcoming on Merrie Monarch '08 and 2007 Christmas Party!
Plus see Kumu for details on this years fundraiser, which is selling Christmas Trees! If you would like to purchase a Christmas Tree thru the halau and support our haumana, please call the halau or contact one of the halau members!
Next year will also be the 5th Anniversary since the start of Halau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniakea, in which there will be celebration/ho'ike being planned. See Kumu for details or keep checking back here on the website!!
